Moving Furniture Records

On Sunday May 6th there will be the third livingroom show at Moving Furniture Records HQ in Amsterdam.

MFR will present and afternoon with Tiago Sousa from Portugal who will perform a show on piano and Ti Femme (Helena Sanders) who will perform a show on accordion. Between the two live sets there will also be a short screening of one of the video works by Zeno van den Broek (Machinist).

Tiago Sousa
The music of Tiago Sousa is a classical and jazz trained piano player who with his music fits in with the modern classical music scene which has grown the last years from the electronic ambient scene. Though, unlike most of his peers he does not use electronics. In his piano is at the same time romantic and sad.
This will be his only performance in The Netherlands for the promotion tour through Europe for his latest album Walden Pond’s Monk.

Ti Femme
As Ti Femme American artist Helena Sanders creates intimate songs with her accordion and voice. She goes from minimalist drone sounds to reminders of old sailor songs as if it is nothing.
The past few years she has proven various times to be a lovely live musician who plays with whole her heart and the biggest smile you will ever see.
