Geoff Mullen (USA)
Providence, Rhode Island operative Geoff Mullen has been working beneath the popular music radar for some time now, putting his name to a number of limited cassettes, cdrs and vinyl albums. It is hardly surprising that in that time he has developed something of a cult following in the New England scene, with live performances (solo and together with Keith Fullerton Whitman) and his own Rare Youth label garnering him a loyal throng of rabid fans.

Concern (USA)
Concern is the solo music project of Gordon Ashwo rth, created in 2004. It is a painstaking collage of magnified overtones and delicate tape manipulation, using strictly acoustic instruments and field recordings as sound sources. Intended to sound at once antique, modern and surreally timeless, Concern is composed of shifting and intimate presences of harmonic resonance and decay, carefully steeped and tempered by the nausea and overwhelming emotion of the outside world.

Gordon Ashworth has released three full-length albums as Concern, and has performed live throughout the USA, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
Ashworth lives and works in Portland, Oregon, and is also involved in the solo & collaborative projects Oscillating Innards, CAEN, Knelt Rote, Black Air, and Vile Horrendous Aerial Bombardment, and is the brother of Owen Ashworth (Advance Base, ex-Casiotone For The Painfully Alone)
After releases on Digitalis and Slow Flow Rec he is now on tour to promote his latest offering “Misf ortune” out on Isounderscore.

Matar Dolores (Italy)
Is a collaborative effort consisting of Francesco Tignola and Giuseppe Esposito, active in Naples, in the south of Italy. Their sound research is based on a massive use of field recordings in a strict compositional perspective and clever breaks of “music”; their gigs usually hit audience for depth and dynamism.
Expect some heavy dose of noise.
First official release, a c20 tape dedicated to philosopher Karl Polanyi, will see the light in early 2012 through the italian label Joy De Vivre www.joydevivre.it

Plus video & screenings curated and live!
