Feb 13th: Neige Morte, Alabaster & Hadewych++ live at OCCII, Amsterdam (NL)

This coming Thursday, February 13th the French bands Neige Morte and Alabaster, together with Dutch band Hadewych++ will visit the OCCII in Amsterdam. DJ that night will be JvB (from Slakkengang and Bleak Bulge)

Doors open: 20:30
Entrance: 7 euro.

Unlike previous MFR concerts this time no electronic music. This time it is all about Blackness.

Avant-garde black metal from France. Filthy yet intelligent.
France has been pushing some excellent black metal out of its orfices the last couple of years with Deathspell Omega and Blut Aus Nord as their most visible examples. Meet Neige Morte, these French guys play black metal infused with a hint of jazz delivered with the intensity of crust. It’s filthy yet intelligent, noisey but with focus, and experimental without getting nerdy.

ALABASTER – Hxc Noise 90′s – Lyon

Alabaster is a band influenced by what the 90′s did the best : heavy, intense and noisy hardcore metal such as Kiss It Goodbye, Unsane, Deadguy or Knut.
