On this lovely Saturday evening the American drone musician Concern will be performing live at MFR HQ.
Earlier this year Concern (Portland, US) already performed at MKZ (behind the OCCII) but now is back for an even more intimate show in the living room at Moving Furniture Records HQ.
Concern has released several great records on labels such as Digitalis and Slow Flow Rec. And his last effort “Misfortune” came out on Isounderscore. On this album he works with prepared stringed instruments as sound source to create some intense droning sounds.
For this show Concern will present a new work, which hasn’t be released yet.

He will be supported with opening act Orphax (Amsterdam, NL) who will do a short show with minimalist drone sounds and field recordings, or whatever comes up in his mind before playing.
Orphax has released several CD-R and mp3 releases by labels such as Striate Cortex, but also self-released. He has a new album upcoming on Broken20 which he hopes to present to you at this performance and another one on Moving Furniture Records.

The doors will op at 20:00
Start show: 20:30 (door closes just before and the doorbell will be down)
End show: before 22:00 (so everyone can go to the Wevie Stonder concert at OCCII).

We ask a small entrance fee of 5 euro to pay the artists (mainly Concern).
We have place for maximum 25 people. Be sure to make a reservation.
